The royal coronation is the gift that keeps on giving! Thanks to his majesty King Charles III, you can visit some of the most popular attractions in Ontario for free on Saturday, May 6th.
The provincial government is going all out to commemorate the royal event. In addition to a free carnival at Queen’s Park, all Ontario provincial parks will be free to visit on Saturday.
Ontario is also giving the public a chance to enjoy top destinations for free all day long.
There will be 10 cultural attractions offering free admission on coronation day, including the Ontario Science Centre, the ROM, and the AGO!

Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly weekend activity or a fun way to spend an afternoon with your pals, you’ve got all kinds of options.
In Queen’s Park, the historic occasion will be commemorated with a ceremony followed by the free fun fair.
Coronation Celebration: A Fun Royal Fair will be held on the South Lawn of Queen’s Park from 12 PM to 6 PM.
Visitors can enjoy free carnival rides and live entertainment, as well as complimentary food and beverages produced locally in Ontario.
And if you want to celebrate the coronation in style, there will be several royal tea parties to attend around the city.
