Three spring plant sales are coming to Metro Vancouver this weekend

Who doesn’t love a good plant sale to liven up their home, patio, or office space? Spring has sprung, and it’s time to bring a bit of the outdoor vibes indoors. We’re talking monsteras, vines, flower planters, herbs, veggies, and much more. So grab your cash and get ready to support some local horticultural societies in the process. Here are three spring plant sales coming to Metro Vancouver this weekend.

New Westminster Horticultural Society Plant Sale

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Thomas More Collegiate, the New West Horticultural Society is hosting its annual spring plant sale, where members have donated a variety of well-tended shady and sunny perennials as well as vegetable seedlings available for purchase below Garden Outlet prices.

The sale is cash only, and it’s best to arrive early, as the selection sells out quickly, according to organizers.

West Vancouver Spring Plant Sale 

The West Vancouver Garden Club’s annual Gleneagles Spring Festival includes a plant sale on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Many of the Club’s members will be potting up volunteer seedlings, cuttings, and perennials for the festival, which is well-known for its interesting plants.

South Burnaby Garden Club Spring Plant Sale 

The South Burnaby Garden Club’s annual Spring Plant Sale will also take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering a selection of perennials, annuals, veggies, and herbs from members’ gardens and greenhouses.

Cost: Free admission
