18 places with terrifying names that actually exist in Canada

Spooky season is in full swing and if scary movies and haunted houses aren’t enough to freak you out, these places with creepy names in Canada surely will.

Statistics Canada has released a list of landmarks from coast to coast with names that will give you goosebumps. We can only imagine how “Hell’s Gate” or “Deadman’s Bay” came to be, and we don’t want to find out.

If you’re brave enough, you can even visit some of these places using the NHS Profile, according to Stat Can.
