Here’s what’s open and closed in Edmonton on Canada Day this year

Another holiday is nearly here and it’s high time to plan the weekend ahead! This Canada Day, government employees and shops all over the city will be closing early or just taking the entire day off, so take note, because nothing kills a vibe quicker than a locked door.

Here is everything open and closed on Canada Day in Edmonton.

EDMONTON MALLS

Though we’d recommend checking their hours before heading out, West Edmonton Mall, Kingsway, Southgate Centre and Edmonton City Centre malls will be open.

MOVIE THEATRES

Hoping to catch a flick for Canada Day? Metro Cinema might be closed, but Landmark Cinemas and Cineplex locations across the city will all be open.
