Ontario’s longest tubing hill is the ultimate winter adventure & here’s where it is

It’s already a winter wonderland at Ontario’s longest tubing hill.

The weather is perfect and the snow is just right for your planned winter activities at Horseshoe Resort, now open for the season. Just an hour north of Toronto, you’ll find the perfect winter getaway destination, offering the best tubing hill (and the longest), in Ontario.

This family-friendly Ontario ski and golf resort is located at 1101 Horseshoe Valley Road West in Barrie, Ontario. It features 28 Alpine ski and snowboard runs, 30 kms of double track set Nordic trails, a terrain park, golfing, a man-made lake, snow tubing, snowshoeing, indoor and outdoor pools, and so much more.

And there’s a thing called fat biking?! They’re bikes with big wheels, perfect for cycling through the snow. Loads of fun! But if you’re here for the snow tubing, you’re in for an adventure.

Ditch the skis and grab a tube! The hill features five long chutes that end in a slight bump so you can catch some air for that thrill experience.

All ages are welcome to zoom down this massive hill, as long as you’re at least 3’5″ and you’re wearing the proper winter footwear.

There are two passes available so make sure to pick one that suits your needs – the two-hour Midweek Pass is available Tuesday to Thursday for $26 and the three-hour Weekend/Holiday Pass offers four sessions starting at 9:00 A.M., with the last session at 6:00 P.M. If you plan to go on a Sunday, it’s important to note that tubing closes at 6:00 P.M., that day. This pass is priced at $46 to $55 depending on the day.

There’s also a winter package deal available that features a ton of activities, including tubing if you’re hoping to get away for a bit and hit the slopes.

You can start booking your getaways now but you’ll have to wait a week or so for tubing to be ready for the season. But you can still check out the resort for its ski slopes if you just can’t wait.
