There’s a pet friendly sunflower festival in Washington next month

Get ready to be enchanted by blooms because O’Keefe Farms is hosting its 5th Annual Sunflower Festival next month!

The Washington farm has been in the agricultural business since 1882, meaning it’s a real local gem. You can enjoy fields of flowers for three weekends this August, and here’s what else you’ll find at the festival.

The O’Keefe Farms Sunflower Festival has not only flower fields but also food trucks, drinks, live music, and even a vendor market.

This year, admission includes It includes two U-cut flowers as well as unlimited time to stroll and enjoy the magic of the sunflower fields. That means you’ll have all the time you could possibly need to snap the perfect picture.

There will be three paint nights this year, taking place on August 3rd, 4th & 10th with a new image each day.

As for live music, here is who you can expect this year:

  • August 3rd 4pm-7pm Mark Leedy and the Lewis River Blues Band
  • August 4th 4pm-7pm Fortunate Gold
  • August 9th 5pm-8pm Kiley Jeanne
  • August 10th 4-7pm Mark Leedy and the Lewis River Blues Band
  • August 11th 4pm-7pm Fortunate Gold
  • August 16th 5pm-8pm Kiley Jean
  • August 17th 4-7pm Fortunate Gold
  • August 18th 4pm-7pm Fortunate Gold

It’s worth noting that this year’s festival, like last year, is pet-friendly to well-behaved pets and owners must clean up and discard any mess made by their furry friends.
