This North Van penthouse for sale has amazing views and a private pool

When it comes to incredible properties on the North Shore, we usually focus on those hilarious family money estates hiding out in the British Properties. But this week, we’ve come across a North Van penthouse for sale that rivals anything we’ve seen downtown. Let’s check it out!

Located in the recently built ‘Cascade at the Pier’ development, this penthouse offers a prime location in Lower Lonsdale, and is walking distance to the Shipyards, the SeaBus, and a wide variety of restaurants. And with North Van seemingly adding something new every week, we can’t help but feel like this location will just get better and better.

On the flipside, it’s hard to see how the penthouse itself could improve. While the suite itself is just over 2,900 sq. ft., it comes with some serious lifestyle bonuses. First though, let’s talk about the inside. You’ve got 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms alongside an open floor plan that features a chef’s kitchen, a den, and a massive dining/living room.

Our opinion? Well, since there are technically two main bedrooms (each with its own ensuite bathroom), you’d be better off converting at least one of the other bedrooms into a home office or a little home gym. It’s a waterfront location, after all, so you might as well make the most of the views.

It’s outside where things get truly impressive, though. Located on the 9th floor of the building, this North Van penthouse for sale offers a wraparound roof terrace (2,838 sq. ft.) complete with its own private pool and whirlpool for you to relax in. Not only that, but there’s another ‘rooftop’ terrace above the main floor that is the perfect option for entertaining guests for a summer meal. All in, you’re looking at over 7,500 sq. ft. of space to enjoy, it’s just that the majority of it is outside.

Naturally, a listing of this calibre comes at a pretty hefty price. While less than some of Vancouver’s more, let’s say, notable penthouses that have come up for sale, $8,180,000 certainly puts it out of our price range. Doesn’t mean we can’t do a little daydreaming about it, though!
