Unless you’ve been living under a rock there is no way you missed the buzz around it. It is, after all, touted to be one of the most exciting motorsports events hitting Calgary in forever. We are talking, of course, about Nitro Rallycross!
If you’re familiar with the sport, consider this your reminder to grab your ticket before they sell out (high possibility). On the off chance you aren’t in the know, let’s fill you in.

Nitro Rallycross is a disruptive new event created by moto icon Travis Pastrana and action sports authority Nitro Circus. Described as being an adrenaline-charged event, it is a rallycross-big air hybrid.
And for the first time since its launch in 2021, the event is coming to Calgary!
Expect elite drivers including creator Travis, showcasing some insane tricks and stunts. The drivers will battle it out on the racing field with the most explosive electric vehicles. To make matters even more dramatic, the race tracks are all ice and snow, courtesy of Calgary winter.
While the on-track display will keep you on tenterhooks, there will also be a lot happening off-the-tracks.
There will be an entertainment stage featuring music, a gaming zone and an electric RC activation. There will be a concession area with local food trucks. And there will be an immersive fan experience including an open paddock at the Nutrien Western Event Centre. This is where you can get a behind-the-scenes look at the teams, drivers and cars.
The thrill-inducing race will go down at the iconic GMC Stadium on Stampede ground on Saturday, February 4th and Sunday, February 5th, 2023. Yes, it is happening during Calgary’s Chinook Blast festival.
You can book individual tickets for each day— $25 for Saturday and $30 for Sunday. Or grab a two-day pass for $50. But be quick to grab your tix cause they are selling out fast. You can grab your tickets/passes at the link below.
