BC’s world-famous garden will transform with over 3,000 enchanting lights

If you are a night owl but love exploring nature come spring and summer, we’ve got great news for you. It doesn’t need to be daytime to roam one of the world’s most beautiful flower fields. Every June, Butchart Gardens transforms for its Night Illuminations experience, which gives visitors nightfall access to over 900 stunning plant and flower varieties.

At dusk, the Gardens come to life with over 3,000 subtle lights that guide visitors into an enchanting wonderland, showcasing an artistic display of light and shadow.

The Night Illuminations experience will run from June 1st to September 15th from Wednesday through Sunday, so get ready to venture through this magnificent national historic site.

Better yet, you’ll soon be able to visit the world-famous garden even faster, as a new direct route from downtown Vancouver to Butchart Gardens launches via Harbour Air next month!

Note that Wednesday through Sunday admission gates close at 10 pm, with viewing available until 11 pm.

Monday and Tuesday admission gates close at 5 pm, with visitors welcome to peruse the grounds until 6 pm.

Note that until May 31st, adult admission to the gardens is priced at $38.35 and youth (13 to 17) admission is $19.18.

Starting June 1st, admission is priced at $41.50 and $20.75 respectively.
