New No Frills concept to open in the heart of Toronto’s entertainment district

The entertainment district is getting a sweet surprise this week! No Frills will open a new small format store at Richmond and Peter in Toronto this week, giving downtown residents access to groceries at a cheaper price.

Here’s what to know.

When and where

The new small format No Frills store will host its grand opening on Thursday, September 12th.

The exact address for the store is 261 Richmond Street West, right in the heart of Toronto’s entertainment district and will span 10,000 square feet.

The location will be known as Bo’s No Frills and is set to be open daily from 7:00 AM until 10:00 PM.

No Frills

The No Frills Toronto location opening “underscores No Frills® commitment to offering low prices on groceries and a diverse selection of products,” says Loblaw Companies Limited.

“Torontonians looking for convenience at low prices will find a great selection of organic and healthy food options, high-quality groceries, produce, meat, sushi, BBQ chicken, and in-store baked goods at Bo’s No Frills,” it continues.

Promotions, sales and flyers will remain the same as any other regular No Frills in Toronto, too.

The new location’s owner Bo Obradovic shared his excitement stating, ““I joined the company in 2003 as a produce clerk and grew my career as a produce manager, assistant store manager and store manager. Today, I am a store owner and so thrilled to give back to the local community by creating 50 new jobs in the area and making a positive lasting impact on the community.”

Be sure to check out this new No Frills small format store in Toronto and try to head over during the first few days as the first 100 customers each day will receive a No Frills gift bag until Sunday, September 15th!
