Christmas came early for NFL fans in Canada! Netflix recently announced it’s now the global home of the NFL’s two Christmas Day marquee games where fans can stream the matchups live. Here’s what you need to know.

Netflix Canada posted to social media writing, “You can’t spell Netflix without “NFL” Netflix will be the home to watch the NFL’s 2024 Christmas Day games LIVE!”
The two games football fans can get excited to watch live on Netflix are the Super Bowl LVII-winning Chiefs vs Steelers and Ravens vs. Texans.
“Last year, we decided to take a big bet on live — tapping into massive fandoms across comedy, reality TV, sports, and more,” says Netflix Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria.
“There are no live annual events, sports or otherwise, that compare with the audiences NFL football attracts. We’re so excited that the NFL’s Christmas Day games will be only on Netflix.”
It’s as easy as logging into your Netflix account on Christmas Day, and selecting which live NFL broadcast you want to check out.
Watching the Christmas Day games is a long-standing tradition in a lot of households! Since 2020, they’ve been a holiday staple and According to the NFL, last year’s three Christmas games ranked among the top 25 most-viewed TV programs of 2023.
So even though it’s spring, Merry Christmas, Canada!
