The Muttart Conservatory in Edmonton is holding its annual plant sale very soon

Edmonton’s Muttart Conservatory is finally holding its annual plant sale, and we can’t wait!

Every year, the Muttart Conservatory holds an online plant sale. With this sale, you can browse the extensive list of plants and flora on its website and purchase them for pick up at the physical pyramids. This plant sale is like no other, and it’s definitely one of the most popular ones in the city.

Looking to brighten up your house with a little more green? This is the perfect chance to do so.

What to expect

If you’re antsy and waiting for the coveted list of plants to be dropped, don’t worry. You’ll be able to view the plants ahead of the sale, with previews being held online from April 25 to 29.

The sale officially starts on Thursday, April 30, and continues to Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Once you log in and make an account on the City of Edmonton’s website, you can use their online portal to see all the plant products, information and pricing. However, you cannot show up in person and purchase. As quantities are limited, the spring bedding plant sale is online only.

As for what kinds of plants they’ll have, you can anticipate more than 200 varieties of flowering annuals. In addition to those, there will be several ornamental grasses, a variety of tomatoes and herbs, and a wide assortment of hanging baskets.

Once you’ve placed your order, it’ll be ready for pick up before you know it. The official pick up days are between May 8 and 10 and May 13 and 16. You’ll be picking up your order, not at the main entrance, but at the Muttart storage parking lot.

If you’re ready to get everything bright and blooming for the spring, this is a great way to lighten things up. Get ready for the sale, folks, you won’t want to miss it.
