Far out! Banff’s grooviest new hotel opens this spring and here’s what to know

Retro flair and good times only. Moxy Hotel is opening its first location in Western Canada and it’s one of the most unique experiences in Banff.

The new and improved space pays homage to the old Voyager Inn, Banff’s first commercial motor hotel originally constructed in 1964.  

Moxy Banff kept all the best parts of the “Voy” with a bold new take on mid-century design featuring psychedelic textiles, expansive rundle stone walls, and the iconic Bar Moxy where you can get a free cocktail when you check in!

Described as a destination for fun-seekers,” Moxy Banff is all about its lively and social atmosphere. The lobby revolves around Bar Moxy, where you can mingle, socialize, and unwind with friends both old and new.

Outside, you can enjoy two year-round hot tubs, perfect for soaking your muscles after a day of adventure. Moxy Hotel also boasts a listening room where you can watch movies, listen to music, or face off in an epic ping-pong match.

The hotel also hosts regular activities and pop-up experiences, so you never know what to expect!

The rooms are fun, comfortable, and rich with all the comforts you need to recharge. You’ve got everything you need, but the fun of staying here is in the common spaces.
