This festive experience takes place on the top of an Alberta mountain & it sounds magical

This season, take your festive celebrations to brand-new heights!

Starting in December those in search of holiday cheer can enjoy a ‘Mountain Top Christmas’ in Banff, an Alberta must-visit for families big and small.

Every weekend between the 2nd and the end of the 30th, guests will be invited to board one of several gondolas (or sky sleighs) and can take in the view of the wildlife and sheets of white below.

Once they hit the top, they’ll be encouraged to wander a ‘winter wonderland,’ decorate cookies, make crafts and, of course, enjoy the view.

In addition, there will also be movie screenings and photos with Santa Claus between 10:30 am and 2:00 pm.

The best part is that all activities are complimentary with admission – you’ll just have to pay for food and drink.

Speaking of, those who are looking to have a romantic afternoon on the summit can also visit the beautiful Sky Bistro or the more casual (but equally stunning) Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen.

Sound like a blast? Tickets are available now – but hurry! Banff can get pretty busy when the snow starts to fall.

You really won’t want to miss this one, friends – it’s going to be incredibly magical! Check out their website here and book your tickets now!
