It’s not a mystery why Banff is on the bucket lists of travellers across the globe. Pristine, turquoise lakes, snow-capped mountains, and diverse wildlife all await at Canada’s oldest national park. And it looks like the iconic Canadian destination has once again made the list of the most beautiful places on earth.
This week, Condé Nast Traveler (CNT) released its list of the 57 Most Beautiful Places in the World, recognizing global destinations like the Amazon, Cappadocia, Turkey, and the Atacama Desert in Chile, to name just a handful.
Recognized as “one of the most beautiful spots in Canada,” Banff National Park is revered for its views of the Canadian Rockies and iconic alpine and glacial lakes, including Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and Lake Minnewanka. Those who have been can attest to its incredible natural beauty, and Albertans are lucky to have close access to it all!
If you’re ready to dive into the full list of destinations, you can check out their website. Otherwise, it’s a great time to plan a late winter or spring visit to Banff.
Not everyone can say they live near such a breathtaking national treasure, so definitely take advantage before peak tourist season!
