Everything to know before Morgan Wallen takes the stage in Edmonton

Make way, Morgan Wallen is giddying up to Edmonton!

Country music star Morgan Wallen is finally hitting Edmonton on his I’m the Problem tour for two nights only. At Commonwealth Stadium, fans can anticipate the show of a lifetime with supporting acts like Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn, Ella Langley, and Zach John King. This weekend is going to absolutely blow you away, just you wait.

What to expect

Getting to the show can be a little tricky going Downtown, so we’re here to help you out.

If you are looking to drive, there are several park-and-ride locations nearby. Eaux Claires Lot, Lewis Farms, and the Nakî Transit Centre are available, to name a few. There is no parking at the Commonwealth Stadium, and the surrounding neighbourhoods will have parking restrictions in effect, so be warned.

For those using the Edmonton Transit Service (ETS), good news! Show your ticket as proof of payment when boarding any ETS bus or LRT, and it will be accepted as a valid fare up to 90 minutes before and after the concert.

Looking for merch? Morgan Wallen merchandise will be available for sale outside on the west side by Gate 6 and east side by Gate 10 on Sept. 11 from 1 to 8 p.m. and starting at noon on both Sept. 12 and 13.

On both nights, the gates for the show open at 4:30 p.m., and the opening acts start approximately 5:15 p.m. For the 12th, fans can expect to see Miranda Lambert, Ella Langley, and Zach John King rocking it up on stage. Sept. 13 will feature Brooks & Dunn, as well as Ella Langley and Zach John King.

After the concert, Cook County Saloon will host its own after-parties. For both night one and night two, catch a bus from the concert straight to the saloon to continue the hoedown.

This show is going to be a good one, so grab your tickets now and get ready! Morgan Wallen is taking over Edmonton this weekend, and you definitely don’t want to miss out.
