Ready to put your dancing shoes on? Renowned electronic music label Monstercat is bringing back their Compound Block Party, a 19+ block party and music fest celebrating the best of the scene, with both established and emerging artists taking the stage. And it’s completely free to attend!
With an unmatched blend of vibrant visuals, exciting beats, and a collective passion for music, Monstercat’s annual block party has left an undeniable mark on the city’s nightlife, and this year is set to continue the party. What’s more, the organizers just released this year’s headliners – so get ready to see a mix of EDM’s best artists onstage.
Headliners include Crankdat, Blanke, Nostalgix, Godlands, Ace Aura and CHYL, who will take the main stage and set the crowd on fire with their electrifying beats.
As well, this year will mark the first time that the festival will be an exclusively 19+ event, elevating the atmosphere and doubling its site map compared to last year.
Attendees can expect a ton of free festivities at Monstercat HQ the day of the fest. Live electronic music on two stages featuring local faves and talented new faces. Delicious eats from an array of on-site food trucks (all dietary needs accommodated). Plus, a ton of fun activities and games at their dedicated Gaming Zone. Pick up a controller and set all the new high scores!
There will also be two fully stocked bars where guests can grab a couple of Red Bulls, brews, spirits, and other non-alcoholic bevies.

Monstercat Compound will run from 2 to 9 pm on August 26th, and will stretch down Railway and Dunlevy streets. Attendees will be treated to some of Vancouver’s best food trucks and street artists – with more community-oriented fun to be revealed, so stay tuned!
