The holiday season in Waterloo Region just got a little more magical thanks to its self-guided mistletoe trail. Residents and visitors have the chance to venture across seven unique mistletoe installations designed by local artists.
Spread throughout both busy city streets and charming small towns, each stop along the Mistletoe Trail features its own inspiration, story and artistic touch.
According to Explore Waterloo, the installations are crafted to spark joy and bring out the playful side of the holiday season.
These serve as the perfect backdrop for holiday pictures or even for a moment to pause and reflect on the year.
Participants are encouraged to use the interactive map provided to plan their own route and discover the installations at their own pace.
Stops include Kitchener City Hall, Grand River Pedestrian Bridge, Castle Kilbride, inSeason Home+Garden, TriSisters Art House, Centennial Park, and McCabe’s Irish Pub & Grill.
The trail blends public art with seasonal spirit, making it a feel-good outing for couples, families, or anyone looking to seize a little holiday magic.
