There’s a three-day Asian night market at an iconic GTA shopping centre

The best of Asian culture is coming to the GTA! The 2024 Mississauga Asian Night Market is happening for only three days between July 19th and 21st, featuring over 50 food vendors serving everything from savoury street food to sweet treats.

The Mississauga Asian Night Market will take over the Square One Shopping Centre P6 parking lot and entry is free!

The night market is open from 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM on Friday the 19th, from noon – 11:00 PM on Saturday and from noon – 9:00 on Sunday the 21st.

Some of the delicious food options visitors can get excited about include:

Takoyaki: Japanese snack of batter with octopus
Hong Kong Egg Waffle: Hong Kong-style bubble waffle
Peking Tanghulu: Skewered candied fruits
Uncle Tetsu’s Japanese Cheesecake: Light and fluffy cheesecake
Grilled Squid on an Iron Plate: Tender squid grilled on a hot iron plate
Lamb Skewers: Skewers of marinated lamb, grilled to perfection
Sugarcane Juice: Refreshing juice extracted from fresh sugarcane
Grilled Oysters: Grilled Oysters and golden needle mushrooms
Corn Cheese: Creamy cheese mixed with sweet corn kernels
Shaved Ice: Finely shaved ice topped with various sweet syrups and toppings

There are plenty of other festivities happening, too! According to the Mississauga Asian Night Market, “Enjoy a wide range of entertainment including traditional dances, contemporary music and DJ for late night party.”

There will also be a shopping row featuring “artisanal crafts and chic fashion accessories to cultural artifacts.”

Don’t forget to bring some cash as not all vendors take cards and show up hungry, Toronto!
