Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre is getting a world-exclusive Minecraft experience this month. For one week only, in celebration of the highly anticipated A MINECRAFT MOVIE, visitors can step into a fully immersive activation. And the best part? It’s completely free!
Mark your calendars for March 8 to 16, 2025! Fans of all ages are welcome to step into the pixelated world of Minecraft, with picture-perfect replicas, artwork and even some freebies.
There will be a mega-sized interactive LED portal, along with pixel-perfect cherry blossom trees in the Overworld landscape. Pose for pictures with the lifelike Creeper Bee, and Pink Sheep characters that you can spot in the movie.
There’s also a stunning 40-foot-tall display of film artwork that you don’t want to miss out on.
Last but definitely not least, check out the latest LEGO Minecraft sets and even snag a free LEGO Minecraft polybag. There are also other take-home souvenirs to enjoy.
The Minecraft activation is located near the TTC entrance and the Yorkdale Starbucks Kiosk.
It won’t be hard to spot. It will be open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the select dates.
Now, all you have to do is get your friends and plan a day to go. It’s March Break so be wary of lines! You’ve been warned.
