The Mid-Autumn Festival is finally here and in Toronto, there are plenty of ways to celebrate. Also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, the traditional Chinese festival is a time of reunion with loved ones and is usually celebrated with big meals, paper lanterns, and of course, mooncakes!

From outdoor gatherings to exciting events and all-you-can-eat mooncakes, there are many ways to spend The Mid-Autumn Festival in Toronto, so let’s dive in.

Full Moon Mid-Autumn Festival

 Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Full Moon at this festival in Toronto, complete with lanterns, moon cakes, entertainment, and much more. There will be both indoor and outdoor floating lantern zones, live performances, music, and dance to keep the party going. It’s going to be spectacular!

All-You-Can-Eat Mooncakes

 Da Hu Hotpot is offering all-you-can-eat mooncakes in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Saint Germain Bakery has unveiled its new Rosy White Chocolate Snowy Mooncake with rose-flavoured mochi skin and white chocolate green bean paste filling.

You can also get a box of six freshly-baked mooncakes in a variety of tasty flavours at Hazukido locations around the GTA.

Or, treat yourself to the elegant Star Chef Classic Mooncake Series at Yu Seafood locations in Yorkdale Mall and Richmond Hill.
