Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition is coming to Toronto next month and lets you experience this great Renaissance masterpiece in a whole new way. You won’t need to travel far to feast your eyes on the “artfully displayed reproductions” of the original paintings.
You can expect 34 displays of world-renowned pieces like The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgement. As each venue provides a different viewing experience, the installation at the Toronto Event Centre will feature a new lighting system, an updated recording for the audio guide and new supplementary video.

“We hope to offer guests a refuge from the busy world where they can enjoy this iconic art up close and at their own pace, especially at a time where travel is more expensive than ever,” said Eric Leong, Senior Producer for SEE Global Entertainment.
“Additionally, we want to create an experience that is impossible to have at the chapel in Rome, where tourists must wait in long lines and are rushed through. At our Toronto exhibit, guests can take pictures and admire the art up close for as long as they’d like, soaking in an inspiring and memorable experience.”
Unlike the real Sistine Chapel in Rome’s Vatican Museums, this exhibit lets you observe this incredible artistic achievement in vivid colour from 4 metres away, as opposed to 20 metres.
The show has experienced incredible success in cities across North America and around the world, including Melbourne, Frankfurt, Singapore, Marseille, Manchester, Boston, Dallas, and more. The exhibition has touched down in Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary, and Halifax.
Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition will be located in the Toronto Event Centre at 15 Saskatchewan Road from February 3rd to April 2nd, with viewing sessions available between Wednesdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Tickets start at $28 for adults, $22 for children, and $24 for seniors, students, and military. Get your tickets now online!
