In honour of Mexican Independence Day, a huge festival full of delicious eats, drinks, and entertainment is coming to Toronto this month. Get ready for a jam-packed day! Here’s what to know.
On September 16th, Nathan Phillips Square will host the 29th annual Mexican Independence Day celebration from 11 AM to 10 PM. Expect a day full of culture, entertainment, and more thanks to the over 40 food and artisanal vendors expected to be in attendance.
“Last year in 2022, it felt wonderful to be able to gather once again to sing, dance, eat, and celebrate together! We enjoyed continuing our festivities online with original programming during the pandemic, but the real goal was to always be united together. Now, in 2023, we look forward to coming together once again on September 16,” shared organizers of the event.
