Summer 2023 has been a ride, but it’s not over just yet! Before your favourite coffee shop debuts its PSL, celebrate the sunniest season at Marda Gras – one of Marda Loop’s longest-running festivals and a Calgary must-hit.
Featuring food trucks, live entertainment and local vendors, this lively block party kicks off this Sunday and will run from 10 am to 5 pm.

During this time, Calgarians can shop, dance, and munch with their friends, family and dog!
In fact, Marda Gras is known (and loved) for its iconic pet pageant where those interested can dress their furry friends in funky costumes, snap pictures in their photo booth and win prizes.
Interested in entering your four-legged pal? Registration is open now, but don’t hesitate! Only 30 pups will be selected to compete.
Either way, it’s going to be adorable to watch and a ton of fun to attend.
