Madonna is going on a massive 40th anniversary tour & she’s coming to Seattle

Whether you love her or love to hate her, Madonna is recognized as the undisputed queen of pop for a reason. And as the best-selling female solo touring artist of all time, seeing her perform live is the stuff of bucket lists. Luckily, Seattle can cross this one off this summer when her new Celebration Tour comes to the Climate Pledge Arena!

The grand tour is bringing forty years of her music, talent, and  “Madonnamania” to stages across North America, the U.K., and Europe this year. And the announcement is just as iconic, written into the script of a viral video released on Tuesday, January 17th – a nod to her film Truth or Dare.

According to her website, The Celebration Tour will take audience members through Madonna’s artistic journey, paying respect to the city of New York where her career in music first began.

“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” Madonna says in a statement.

In addition to seeing the queen of pop perform in the flesh, audiences will get the chance to see guest performer, Bob the Drag Queen (Caldwell Tidicue), on all dates of the tour.

Tickets go on sale Friday, January 20th and 27th at 10 am local time – so mark your calendars, set your reminders, and get ready for one of the most highly-anticipated concerts of the year.
