Where is Madoc?

The community of Madoc is located southeast of Bancroft, about halfway between Toronto and Ottawa.

While this village is small, it still offers plenty of things to do and see and even calls itself “Eastern Ontario’s best kept secret”

One of Madoc’s best secrets? It’s stunning forest yurts.

This yurt is available to rent and offers a little escape from reality. You won’t find wifi during your stay but you will find an area to cook, a private outdoor space and an indoor wood-burning fireplace.

Not only does this brewery serve up original beers such as their Madoc Dark, but you can also catch live musical acts on select evenings.

Want to get some fresh air and some exercise? Madoc has a handful of trails, including some at O’Hara Mill Homestead.
