Discovering a free concert or two is one of life’s greatest simple pleasures, and a staple of the summer months in Vancouver. If you find yourself perusing Lonsdale Quay or wandering the tree-lined streets of North Vancouver on a Saturday this July and August, it’s worth heading down to the Shipyards for a free concert series: Long Summer Nights.
Aptly named, the series hosts a variety of performing artists for a themed night of music, food, and community.
Each week has a unique theme that extends to the stage and beyond, including a rotating selection of food trucks, local breweries, cideries, and distilleries, as well as family-friendly activities.
So grab your pals and get ready to enjoy all that the waterfront area has to offer.
When: Saturdays in July and August
Time: 5 to 10 p.m.
Where: 19 Wallace Mews, North Vancouver
Cost: Free
