A gigantic L.L. Bean store just opened in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood

Boat and Tote, anyone? The time has come. The time when I strap on my sneakers and walk myself over to the new L.L. Bean store. Yep, after announcing that Toronto would be the home to a brand new location, L.L. Bean Yorkville opens its doors today, Aug. 22, 2025.

The best part? Getting there is easy. The store is located right on the concourse level of Manulife Centre at 55 Bloor St. W., which has direct access to the TTC.

Spanning a whopping 9,500 square feet, this location will be stocked with outdoor-inspired apparel and footwear, travel accessories, home and dog gear, and of course, the viral Boat and Tote bag (which can be monogrammed!).

“Opening in the heart of downtown Toronto marks an exciting step in L.L.Bean’s continued Canadian growth,” says Dalia Shayo, executive vice president, Jaytex Group.

“As a proudly Canadian company, Jaytex is focused on bringing the brand’s heritage of timeless style, craftsmanship, function, and outdoor spirit to communities across the country, now including one of Canada’s most vibrant areas.”

Trust me, as someone who wouldn’t necessarily consider myself an outdoors person, I’ve purchased quite a few things from L.L. Bean in my time.

If you have no plans this weekend, checking out this new spot is the perfect thing to do.

Happy shopping!
