A summer stroll sounds nice, doesn’t it?
While the weather is still nice enough to do so, lace your shoes, pack up your sunscreen and hit Elk Island National Park, where you’ll find the Living Waters Boardwalk.
Located on Astonin Lake, this 400-metre loop offers spectacular views and will only take about 30 minutes to complete.
From trees, a marsh, and little islands that look beautiful as the sun rises and sets, visitors will be surrounded by some of nature’s greatest hits—many of which have four legs!
With several beavers, waterfowl, fish and frogs, there’s a good chance that those with eagle eyes will see a critter or two so keep your eyes peeled.
