Known and beloved by many, the Lilac Festival is a free-to-attend event that has occupied 4th Street almost every June for 32 years – but in 2023, they’re expanding.

According to organizers, they plan to spill into 17th Avenue, which is a Calgary hot spot with bustling businesses, meaning more room, more fun and more action!
“Get ready with more sets of live performers, food trucks, vendors and extended outdoor patios where we can celebrate the energy of #LilacFestival2023!” they wrote on their Instagram.
“Stay tuned for more details in the next coming weeks. We can’t wait to see you on June 4th!”
