Leavenworth’s Village of Lights: Christmastown returns this month with over 500k lights

Washington’s most festive town is officially gearing up for the holiday season. The Leavenworth Village of Lights: Christmastown returns this month with over half a million dazzling lights for you to enjoy. Get ready to see the town lit up in a whole new way.

On November 25th, Leavenworth will light up with the spirit of Christmas. The town’s lights are visible nearly everywhere, you’ll see them on trees, on buildings and maybe even on a horse drawn carriage or two. They’re a beautiful and relaxing way to start your holiday season and are also a great back drop for any holiday pics you’re wanting to take.

Whether you’re planning a day trip or a longer stay at a local spot like the Post Hotel, there’s much more to do than just see the lights. Alongside the annual lighting ceremony you can enjoy live entertainment with choirs, carolers, bands and more at the Gazebo in the heart of town. Of course you can also simply wander the Bavarian town and take in its uniqueness.

Some of the other things you can check out include gingerbread houses, nutcrackers, selfie stations and of course snap photos with Santa.
