Fly through Leavenworth’s fall colors on Washington’s first alpine roller coaster

Have you ever wanted to experience zipping through Washington’s mountains on a roller coaster? Well, now you can because Washington’s first alpine roller coaster opened earlier this year in Leavenworth, and it’s every bit as fun as it sounds. Here’s what to expect from the new ride!

The coaster is a new attraction at Leavenworth Adventure Park, measuring 2,700′ long with a vertical drop of 234 feet and three 360-degree spiral helix circles.

You have the ability to use side brakes for a slow, scenic ride or you can release the brakes and cruise up to 27mph all while taking in the views of Tumwater Canyon, Icicle Ridge, the Wenatchee River Rapids, and the town of Leavenworth. Now imagine all those views as the leaves change color.

Beyond the coaster, Leavenworth Adventure Park also has a climbing wall, bungee trampoline, and mining sluice. What’s more, the park is family-friendly so you can check it out with your friends or bring the kids for an experience you won’t soon forget.

Due to the coaster’s newness and its uniqueness in our state, ride times are booking up fast. With that in mind, we recommend hopping online and booking your rides now. Plus by booking online in advance you can save up to 12%.

Leavenworth Adventure Park

Where: 545 Junction Ln, Leavenworth, WA
Hours: Thursday-Monday 10 AM-6 PM
Cost: Single adult ride $19, Three ride pack $45
