You’ll soon be able to play pickleball on the water at Toronto’s massive indoor lake

The world’s largest indoor lake for boaters is returning to the city for the annual Toronto International Boat Show, and this time it’s bringing a new Indoor Floating Pickleball Court. Here’s what to know.

Tickets are on sale now for the Toronto International Boat Show, which will be in the city from Jan. 17 to 25, 2026. It’s North America’s largest indoor boat show, so of course, it brings new and exciting experiences every year. The Coca-Cola Coliseum rink will be filled with over a million gallons of water to transform into the world’s largest indoor lake.

Last year, we saw a glow-in-the-dark immersive boating experience, and now this year, the pickleball craze will hit the waters on an indoor floating court.

For the first five days of the show, enjoy a few rounds of pickleball on a floating full-size court. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, the court is open to all. Paddles and balls will be given, or you can bring your own.

Rubber-soled athletic shoes are required to play. Sign-ups can be done in person, so be sure to review the schedule before you arrive.

But that’s not all that’s happening on the water. You’ll also get to watch professional wakeboarders compete at the Indoor Wakeboard Canadian Championship and catch a waterski show, too. Ticket holders can even enjoy free rides in a canoe, kayak, or pedal boat.

For all those who wish to participate in an activity on the dock, water, or pickleball court, a signed waiver is required. Printed waivers will be available on site at the sign-up desk, too.

Every year, the event connects consumers and the boating community with the industry’s top boat dealers, manufacturers, retailers, services, and experts right at Exhibition Place.

It’s truly a boat lover’s paradise!

Tickets are on sale, and general admission tickets are $26; kids 16 and under are free. It’s not one to miss.
