This popular outdoor flea market is coming back to Toronto this spring

The month of May is about to be bustling with pedestrians, as outdoor attractions, including the ever-so-popular Kensington Flea Market, take over Toronto streets.

Considered one of the must-see events of the year, the four-month-long market returns to the heart of the Kensington Market neighbourhood later this week. Known for hosting vendors from across the city, the market gives attendees the chance to stroll the streets while shopping and supporting local small businesses.

Founded in 2017 by BAZAAR Gift Shop, the market has become a staple of the spring and summer months, offering locals and visitors alike the opportunity to browse everything from vintage goods and artisanal food to just about everything in between.

This carefully curated market is the perfect spot to pick up art, stationery, candles, and more. It’s also a great excuse to wander the whole neighbourhood itself. With vibrant, colourful murals and plenty of renowned food options, it’s easy to turn a visit to the Kensington Flea Market into a full-day outing.

The one-of-a-kind outdoor market is currently accepting vendor applications for the 2026 season. Anyone interested can find the application link on the event’s official Instagram page.

The Kensington Flea Market runs every weekend from May 3 until Sept. 27, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and is located at 216 Augusta Ave.
