This Ontario park has a scenic boardwalk around a shimmering blue lake

Nestled along the rugged Niagara Escarpment in Milton, this outdoor recreation park has so much to offer.

The star of the show is Kelso Lake, a captivating human-made reservoir initially designed to manage the risk of flooding from the nearby Sixteen Mile Creek.

Over time, it has evolved into a shimmering blue oasis for paddling and swimming.

Hikers and their dogs can traverse the 6.4 km Kelso Conservation Trail, immersing themselves in the fresh air and nature views. Just be sure to have your dog on a leash at all times.

When winter hits, Kelso transforms into Glen Eden, a thrilling ski and snowboard haven.
