This national park in Alberta is holding a huge starlit festival & it sounds magical

Memorable events are a dime a dozen in Alberta, but few are as enchanting as the Jasper Dark Sky Festival – a nighttime extravaganza where dreams become a reality.

Back for another year of stunning displays, incredible performances and world-famous speakers, this autumn gathering is held at the world’s second-largest dark sky preserve, Jasper National Park.

For 10 enchanting days, jr. astronomers and curious kittens from all over the world are encouraged to power down, look up and learn about the stars and our neighbouring planets through uniquely Albertan programming.

From a starlit symphony to, late-night Skytram rides, a traditional ᐸᐦᑭᓯᒧᐣ Pahkisimon ceremony,  a drone light show, and treasure hunt – as well as a series of fireside chats and presentations.
