Ready to explore a giant Christmas market, Vancouver? The popular Japan Market Christmas Fair is back this weekend with delicious Japanese food, inspired crafts, and art to check out – and that’s just for starters.
With over 75 vendors to peruse, shopping for gifts of all kinds just got that much easier. According to the market’s website, there will be two floors of local apparel, art, food, home & decor items, jewelry, ‘variety zakka,’ and bath & body products.
Oh, and Samurai will return to the indoor site for free photo ops, which makes a great gift in and of itself!

The fair will take place at UBC Robson Square at Plaza level UBC Sun Room from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 3rd.
Early bird tickets are available online and are priced at $4 per person or $7 for two, which goes up to $5 and $9 respectively starting December 2nd (cash only). Children aged 15 and under receive free admission.
Note that the first 50 people to enter the market on both days will receive a $10 Japan Market dollar vouchers to spend inside.
So there you have it, Vancouver. Get ready to shop and learn more about Japanese culture in the process.
