It looks like you might able to attend the Washington State Fair this fall

With over a year of venue closures and event cancellations, we know it’s hard to look towards the future. But in some exciting news, it looks like we might get to enjoy the Washington State Fair this fall. Now before you get too excited, keep in mind that things are subject to change.

The organizers of the Washington State Fair are hoping that by September things might be smooth enough in the state to have our wonderful fair. And while they are optimistic, they are aware that many things could change between now and then. But for the time being, they are hoping to host the fair again from September 3rd-26th.

Right now, large-scale gatherings are only allowed under Phase 3 and at the moment Pierce County is in Phase 2. So that means that they have about 3 months to move to Phase 3. During that time, the county will have several opportunities to have their phase status reviewed, so let’s all keep our fingers crossed. Because let’s face it, the drive-thru fairs just aren’t the same as the real thing.

If the fair is able to return you’ll also be able to attend the popular Columbia Bank Concert Series. So there’s more than just the fair to look forward to this fall.
