Enjoy live performances, a dance party & music at this Indigenous science night in Calgary

March is just around the corner and it’s shaping up to be an action-packed few weeks, but we truly believe that the more activities there are to do, the merrier.

If you’re among those looking for a fun night out at the end of the month, consider the TELUS Spark Science Centre which will be showcasing Indigenous music, art and science on the 22nd.

Aptly named Indigenous Science Night: Frequencies, this enchanted event will explore the ways in which nature, animals, bugs and humans live and work together through performances, demonstrations and storytelling.

“Frequencies connect everything; from our voices and movement to the falling snow and the first thunder,” explains Kori Czuy, Manager, Indigenous Science Connections, TELUS Spark.

“Let’s learn together about what frequencies can teach us.”

Bees, beats, and even plants – every living thing gives off a ‘good vibration,’ which is coincidentally the name of the mini market you can wander during your visit.

In addition, there will also be a premium drum-making workshop, an electronic dance party, a sound bath experience, hoop dancing and experiments.

Want to check it out? Stop by between 5 pm and 10 pm and enjoy!

You’re in for a magical evening!
