Over 300 drones will light up the night sky in Toronto & you can see it from the CNE

If you’re out by the waterfront this weekend or at the CNE, you’re in for a treat. No, not one you eat but rather one you admire by looking up at the sky. A stunning display of lights will take over Toronto’s night sky this weekend thanks to a drone show by the waterfront.

Back by popular demand, Drone entertainment brand Illumin will have 340 of its drones create a gorgeous light show this Saturday, September 2nd. If you happen to be at the CNE or the Smashing Pumpkins concert, you’ll be able to catch the display at night. If not, you can make your way down to the waterfront around Exhibition Place on Saturday to enjoy the show.

The drones will create a huge display, changing shapes and creating a digital billboard showing images and moving objects in the night sky.

It’ll be a late-night show that will begin right at 11 PM and will last for about 15 minutes.

It’s absolutely free for anyone to watch but if it happens to rain that night, the date will be changed to September 3rd.

This past summer, Toronto was treated to a few drone shows including a light show off of Woodbine Beach to celebrate the National Bank Open presented by Rogers.

It’s safe to say Toronto loves its light shows.
