This might be the prettiest stroll you take this fall! Hunters Bay Trail in Ontario’s cottage country has a long and leisurely boardwalk that appears to float effortlessly on top of the water.
Located in Huntsville, this is said to be one of the most amazing hikes in the whole area, the floating boardwalk being the main attraction.
This boardwalk has been extended from 137 metres to over 500 metres, which gives you plenty of time to soak up the beautiful sights.
Visitors are invited to enjoy the boardwalk on foot or by bike. If the weather is warm enough, you can even take a swim.
The entire Hunters Bay Trail is 3.6 km long and takes you past a railway trestle, riverside views, orchards, wooded trails, and beaches in addition to the boardwalk.
