Travellin Tubs

As the name suggests, this rent-a-tub option lets customers rent portable RotoSpa hot tubs (4-6 adults) on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. While they generally require someone to be present at the time of drop-off to access water/hydro and sign the rental agreement, they don’t need anyone to be present during pick-up.

The process of setting up the tub seems pretty straightforward, according to their website. After they roll it in, they use a garden hose faucet to fill it up with water, and plug it into a standard 120V 3-prong outlet. Once it’s filled (usually 30 to 60 minutes), they’ll provide you with sanitation chemics and accessories, including a filter and a cover to insulate the heat.

In terms of pricing, tub rentals are $500 per week, $670 for two weeks, and $980 per month. However, their holiday pricing takes tubs booked between December 21st and January 5th up to $600 per week ($1,200 for the month).

Note that Travellin Tubs also has a rent-to-own option as well for those who enquire while booking.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 by 8 feet of space available for the tub
  • Shovelled pathway for entry
  • Standard 120V plug

M&M Hot Tub Company

The second option to consider is M&M Hot Tub Company, which is located in New West and offers tub rentals to residents throughout the Lower Mainland. Also providing RotoSpas for rent, M&M offers weekly rentals for $450 and a “try before you buy” option.

Note that free delivery is available to customers in Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, New West, Surrey, North Van, and more. However, folks outside of their delivery area may have to pay an extra fee.

Requirements:

  • Any gates must be at least 34″
  • Stair railings must be at least 34″ wide
  • Any archways must be at least 80″ high

And that’s a wrap on hot tub rentals, Vancouver. Stay warm & enjoy a bit of luxury while you’re at it.
