Toronto’s getting a high tea experience with adoptable puppies this May

A heavenly experience is coming our way this spring, just in time for Mother’s Day — high tea with adoptable puppies!

The event, put on by Toronto-based startup Doggos and jewelry company Twinkle Links, will invite guests for a dreamy afternoon of tea and tasty bites as well as playtime with puppies rescued by the Helpaws organization.

Your ticket includes a gourmet spread featuring premium teas and treats, including tea sandwiches, mini quiche, scones, canapes, and cakes, as well as mimosas made with freshly squeezed O.J. — yum!

Plus, you’ll be given an exclusive piece of jewelry from Twinkle Links’ brand new Rose Collection.

Guests at every table will also have the opportunity to create and take home their own tulip bouquet, with blooms provided by the Tasc Tulip Farm in Ontario.

Most importantly, though, you’ll be given plenty of time with the furbabies brought in by Helpaws from the island of Saint Lucia, where many of them are born into heart-wrenching conditions.

If you fall in love with one, you might even be able to take it home because all of the puppies at the event are adoptable.

Tickets start at $150 per person for groups of two to six for the “Princess Seating,” however you can upgrade your experience to the “Queen Seating,” which includes a bottle of Möet Champagne, a bottle of Rosé, and a photoshoot for your group with the puppies.

Whether you’re looking for a Mother’s Day surprise or simply an excuse to sip tea and cuddle some puppies, this event seems pretty darn ideal.
