All things considered, we’re actually somewhat surprised by how humble Shawn Mendes’ living space is. The pop star resides in a nearly $2 million dollar penthouse suite overlooking views of the city skyline. We know, we know, that doesn’t sound humble. But when you consider some of the crazy real estate celebrities are known for, his fairly simple Toronto condo is a surprising breath of fresh air.

The unit features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms within its 1,144 square feet of living space. The apartment definitely has that classic Toronto condo vibe. If you’ve ever shopped real estate in this city, you know what we’re talking about. But some of its more elevated perks include floor-to-ceiling windows, a walk-in closet, and a kitchen island.

Where the unit really shines has got to be the terrace. Shawn’s got 750 square feet of space to lounge out in the sun. When you see this gorgeous outdoor area, suddenly it all begins to make sense. There’s plenty of room for outdoor furniture, a BBQ, and, of course, views that can’t be beaten.

Of course, all this didn’t come cheap. As we mentioned, Shawn shelled out nearly $2 million for the downtown pad. Plus, the video estimates he’s got an additional $1,114 worth of monthly fees for things like maintenance, security, and parking.

All-in-all it’s certainly a decent living space to be spending his quarantine! Killer views of the city and plenty of space to move around?
