From mechanical bulls to live bands, here’s everything happening on 17th Ave for Stampede

Here’s the thing— we Calgarians know better than to believe that all the Stampede fun is only happening on the Stampede grounds. Come Stampede season and the whole city goes into a massive celebration. And 17th Ave is definitely no exception. 

By now we already know that summer on 17th Ave is turning out to be quite amazing, thanks to their free daily entertainment. And starting July 8th through July 16th, The Ave is going to give off major rodeo vibes with their Stampede-themed events.

So, there’s going to be live performances by popular Canadian country artists Ronnie Kerr, Brandon Lorenzo duo, Lulahh n’ the Classic Crew and the Piston Noon band.

Oh, and thanks to Griletz Rodeo Ranch, we can also indulge in other fun activities. Think a mechanical bull, a calf-roping machine with instructors to guide you, line dancing and more.

The absolute best part is that like their other summer events, the Stampede-themed ones are free to attend. Meaning, that all the country joys are yours to enjoy without breaking your wallet.
