Situated on the serene Upper Arrow Lake, the hot springs are one of only a few in the world today where the water is still considered drinkable.

Contained in a lakeside resort and accessible to the public, Halcyon is considered home to some of North America’s most restorative hot spring waters, which have been used for centuries by local First Nations.

Its blend of sodium, magnesium, lithium, calcium, and strontium makes its mineral content unlike any other in the world, giving the waters therapeutic, healing qualities.

According to the Hot Springs, lithium has antidepressant, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties that can help regenerate pathways in the brain.

Ready to take a rejuvenating dip? The hot springs are located on the upper deck of the resort, where you can float through the warm pool’s jetted swim channel and soak up the waters’ beneficial minerals.

Drop-in fees and hours

The hot springs are open to the public from Friday through Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Note that 9 to 10 p.m. is reserved for adults only.

Drop-in day and night passes are both priced at $18 per person, with a special $15 admission available during the day or evening on Thursdays.
