Kananaskis Nordic Spa

We’ve got two words to describe the Nordic Spa: alpine sanctuary. Sounds pretty good, hey? From the massage services to the Eucalyptus steam cabin to the state-of-the-art saunas, this place has the whole relaxation game down pat.

Where: 1 Centennial Dr, Kananaskis

Solara Resort & Spa

The award-winning Solara Resort is another great place to treat yourself. It’s luxurious, warm, and nestled right in the mountains, so there’s really no way you could have a bad time. We recommend their cupping treatment to release tension (and for some really B.A. bruises), or the ReVersive Anti-Aging Facial if you want to look extra fresh!

Where: 187 Kananaskis Way, Canmore

Solorzano Spa

Wine down. Solorzano Spa is a unique destination that actually offers Vino therapy in which customers can soak their feet in merlot. They also have traditional massages, a cafe and wine bar, as well as other aesthetic services. Check it out!

Where: 4631 50th Street, Red Deer

Spa by JW

Located in Edmonton, the Spa by JW promises to “unclutter your mind and body.” Get a facial scrub, a massage, have a drink and reemerge as a new, more relaxed version of yourself.

Where: 10344 102 Street, Edmonton

Willow Stream Spa

We all know the Fairmont Banff Springs is a good time, but many of us haven’t explored the amazing Willow Stream Spa that is hidden right inside the resort. They have pulsating waterfalls, a mineral pool, and an extensive service menu that will definitely help you detox.

Where: 405 Spray Avenue, Banff

Jasper Fairmont Spa

Really want to treat yourself? Enjoy a dip in the heated pool (overlooking placid Lac Beauvert), hit the eucalyptus steam room or get a massage by a crackling fire. The Fairmont Spa in Jasper is extra special and super relaxing.

Where: Old Lodge Road Jasper, Alberta, Canada

Serenity Spa

Need to wind down? Waterton is the place. Here, guests can have a picnic, lay under a tree, grab a drink on the patio or get a massage at the Serenity Spa, which is located at the Bayshore Inn.

Where: Waterton Lakes National Park, 111 Waterton Ave #103, Waterton, AB

SKA Thermal City Spa

From date nights and bad days to bachelorette parties and anniversaries, SKA City Thermal Spa is accessible convenient and super cozy. In addition to massage treatments, facials and a cute waiting room, they’ve also got hydrotherapy – the only of its kind in Calgary!

Where: 638 11 Ave SW, Calgary, AB

Hopefully, one of 8 Alberta spas do the trick! Happy zen-ing, Calgary. We’ve still got a long winter ahead of us.
