Love to Laugh: A comedy festival returns to Edmonton next week

Mark your calendars, because the third annual Grindstone Comedy Festival is back in Edmonton soon! A great mix of local, and national, the fest is perfect for anyone who loves to laugh. Which, we’re hoping, is just about everybody.

Starting on Wednesday, July 6th, the Comedy Festival will be taking over not one, not two, but three different venues around the city. Go back to school with shows at U of A’s Campus St-Jean, enjoy the outdoors at the Howl & Roar Records Outdoor Stage, and of course, head to the Grindstone itself for the major events!

As for the events themselves, expect a mix of classic stand up sets, competitions, and improv shows. So, whether you’re looking to see the Juno-award winner Sophie Buddle, or catch the finals of the Grindstone’s own stand up competition, you’ve got options.

Tickets for individual shows are available, but we might suggest that your check out the bundles available for the fest as well. After all, once you experience one show, chances are high you’re going to want to check out another. Really, it only makes sense to get it at a discount!
