Opa! Vancouver’s Greek festival to celebrate 50 years with authentic food & live music

If you love Mediterranean food, we’ve got an exciting all-day street festival to share with you. Greek Day on Broadway is returning to West Broadway for its 50th anniversary this June, and you won’t want to miss it!

Hosted by the Hellenic Canadian Congress of BC (HCCBC), the festival promises to be bigger and better than ever, spanning multiple blocks throughout Kitsilano in the heart of Vancouver’s Greektown.

If past years are any indication, visitors can expect to peruse dozens of local vendors, watch traditional Greek dances, participate in ceramic and pottery workshops, and even check out some cooking demos showcasing the main elements of a balanced Mediterranean diet.

“Dive into a day filled with authentic Greek food, live music, traditional dance performances, and interactive activities that promise fun for the entire family,” reads the website.

While we wait on more details on this year’s festival lineup, why not take a look at last year’s street festival?
