The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival is bringing star comedians Bill Burr and Theo Von to town

Gear up Edmonton! Because Trixstar is bringing back its belly-ache-inducing laugh riot for the third year in a row. We’re talking, of course, about The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival 2023. And we have the deets for you.

First things first— the epic comedy fest will host shows on Friday, July 14th and Sunday, July 16th. It will take over the beautiful and ginormous Kinsmen Park. And it will come with all the fare and frills – gigs, music, food, drinks and a super fun time.

Yes, in addition to the comedy gigs, the festival grounds will also feature several local food and beverage vendors. So, you can sip on a chilled one as comedy geniuses tickle your funny bones.

Coming to the part that you’ve been waiting for – the line-up. Like years past, the festival is boasting a mix of A-list headliners alongside local up-and-comers. On its opening day, popular American comedian and podcaster Theo Von will be headlining the fest. Yes, the Theo Von of the hilarious The Past Weekend podcast.

Following him will be Sam Morril and Laura Peek.

And for its finale evening, The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival veteran and Emmy and Grammy-nominated comedian, Bill Burr will take over the stage. YAY indeed!

The great thing is you can catch all this action up close by reserving a table in their VIP section. This is also where you can have your food and bevies served at your table.

Tickets to both, the General admission and the VIP section, will go on sale this Friday, May 5th. And from experience, we know they sell out fast. So, mark your calendars and reserve your spots STAT!

Given their continued commitment to supporting the local community, part of the proceeds from the festival will be donated to Boyle Street Community Services. The non-profit supports and empowers people to take control of their lives and escape the cycle of poverty and homelessness.

Check out their website below for more info about the festival and, of course, to grab your tix.
